1. Polite Crawler & Security Guarantees

• Strict robots.txt Compliance: Before inspecting any homepage, our bot checks /robots.txt. Adding User-agent: JetCiteBot/1.0 / Disallow: / blocks our scanner automatically.
• SSRF & Internal Network Protection: Our scanner validates DNS resolution and blocks all RFC1918 private IPs, loopback addresses, and cloud metadata endpoints.
• Read-Only Public Header & Metadata Check: We only perform standard HTTP GET requests on up to 5 public URLs (/, /robots.txt, /llms.txt, /llms-full.txt, /sitemap.xml). We never submit forms, bypass authentication, or test vulnerabilities.

2. Zero-PII Data Privacy Policy (GDPR & CCPA)

JetCite does not harvest, store, or sell personal data (PII) from audited websites. Any email addresses or query tokens encountered in HTML metadata are automatically scrubbed prior to storage. Payment processing is handled 100% by Stripe Hosted Checkout; we never touch or store credit card numbers.
